Professional

Professional work across engineering systems.

My work sits at the intersection of product reliability, systems engineering, technical risk, verification, data, software and automation.

The common thread is improving how engineering decisions are made: making evidence easier to connect, risks easier to see, and complex product work easier to learn from.

Professional Areas

The anatomy of the work.

01

Product Engineering & Reliability

Building products with reliability, risk, and lifecycle performance in view.

  • Electronic Systems Development & Benchmarking

Built and validated automotive electronic systems across Cummins, L&T, and KPIT, moving ideas from circuit concepts to working prototypes. The work covered analog and digital electronics, embedded systems, benchmarking, reverse engineering, and proof-of-concept validation for body, chassis, powertrain, and related applications.

  • Quantitative Reliability Assessment

Used engineering judgment, test results, warranty history, and field data to understand whether reliability targets were realistic and whether products were improving. The work helped teams separate what the evidence could support from what still needed more data, action, or time in service.

  • Failure Mode Prevention

Led and supported DFMEA and product-risk work that helped teams see how designs could fail before those failures reached customers. The objective was simple: make the important risks visible early enough for design, validation, and quality teams to act.

  • Product Problem Resolution

Supported structured problem solving across hardware, embedded software, and regulated products. The work turned failures and weak signals into containment, root-cause learning, corrective action, and better future prevention.

  • Reliability Readiness & Launch Risk

Helped teams judge whether products were ready to move forward by connecting reliability targets, validation coverage, field-test recommendations, program scorecards, and remaining risk. The goal was not just to pass a gate, but to know what the gate decision was standing on.

02

Systems Engineering & Technical Risk

Connecting needs, requirements, architecture choices, technical risk, and evidence.

  • Systems Definition & Architecture

Worked across product boundaries, interfaces, functions, requirements, and operating conditions so teams could reason more clearly about product behavior. This helped connect architecture choices with reliability, verification, validation, and lifecycle decisions.

  • Requirements & Engineering Traceability

Built traceability from customer needs and requirements through design controls, verification, validation, manufacturing evidence, and release decisions. In regulated medical-device work, this helped teams make evidence easier to find, review, and defend.

  • Technical Risk Management

Made technical risk visible earlier by connecting design reviews, failure analysis, field evidence, validation planning, and quality action. Across Cummins, John Deere, and Philips, this helped teams act before risks became launch, compliance, or customer problems.

03

Engineering Transformation

Improving engineering systems, standards, workflows, and organizational capability.

  • Reliability Digital Thread

Led digital-thread work that connected FMEA, field data, usage profiles, validation results, and reliability insights into shared decision workflows. At John Deere, this supported more than five business units and helped teams see risk and maturity across the lifecycle.

  • Process Standardization & Governance

Standardized reliability and risk-governance practices across product teams without trying to replace engineering judgment. The work gave teams common methods, templates, and review rhythms so decisions could scale across programs and regions.

  • Reliability Engineering Capability

Built capability through mentoring, training, communities of practice, and reusable methods. This helped global teams adopt reliability, DFMEA, software quality, and data-driven decision practices as everyday engineering work rather than one-time initiatives.

04

Verification, Quality & Evidence

Determining whether the product is fit for purpose through comprehensive verification, validation, and evidence.

  • Verification Strategy & Validation Planning

Improved validation planning by connecting requirements, technical risks, test coverage, field conditions, and product maturity. The objective was to test what mattered most, not simply produce more test activity.

  • Quality Systems & Lifecycle Governance

Defined QMS-aligned lifecycle governance for software-driven medical-device portfolios at Philips. The work connected development, validation, remediation, post-market learning, and audit readiness into a more disciplined operating system.

  • Requirements-to-Evidence Traceability

Connected requirements, design controls, V&V evidence, manufacturing documentation, and release decisions into traceable workflows. This made evidence more usable for engineering teams, quality teams, auditors, and release reviewers.

  • Remediation, CAPA & Audit Readiness

Supported remediation and CAPA work by connecting the technical issue, the required evidence, the corrective action, and the proof that the fix was effective. The goal was closure that improved both compliance confidence and engineering clarity.

  • Release & Compliance Evidence

Helped assemble the evidence behind phase-gate, release, remediation, and compliance decisions. The work made it easier for teams to understand what was ready, what was still open, and what the available evidence actually proved.

05

Software, Data & Automation

Using software and data to make engineering work more connected, efficient, and informed.

  • Digital Product Ownership

Owned the product vision and roadmap for an enterprise lifecycle decision platform at John Deere. The platform connected systems engineering, field engineering, reliability, validation, and leadership workflows across multiple business units.

  • Engineering Data & Decision Platforms

Built decision-support capabilities that connected FMEA, field data, warranty data, connected-product signals, usage profiles, validation results, reliability targets, and program decisions. The aim was to replace scattered records with shared views of risk and maturity.

  • Connected Product & Usage Analytics

Used connected-machine and field data to understand how products were actually being used. These usage patterns helped teams make better decisions about design, validation, reliability, and lifecycle priorities.

  • Reliability Analytics & Modeling

Applied reliability analytics and modeling when teams had to make decisions from incomplete, changing, or distributed data. This included reliability-growth modeling, software reliability research, ANN-based modeling, PySpark and Databricks dashboards, and lifecycle risk analytics.

  • Engineering Automation

Built and supported tools that reduced repetitive engineering work while preserving traceability and judgment. The best versions made patterns easier to see, evidence easier to connect, and decisions easier to explain.
